The plot of the movie “The Greatest Showman” serves exclusively for edging the songs and to look for some deep meaning in it. Writers do not stay on the complexities or conflicts – they only give an excuse for the next song, and the choreography does the rest. Almost every significant event in the life of heroes is arranged loudly, pathetically and with music. This is so classical musical that it is not necessary to wait for it from the drama – all conflicts are resolved, all villains will retreat, but the main characters will know themselves and their way in life. Trying to live on a minimum wage, the main character – Phineas Taylor Barnum dreams of more and when he is cut from the accountant’s work, he sees in this a chance to open his business, which becomes a museum of unusual things. However, the museum is not popular and Phineas has to revise the concept of the museum in favor of the show with the participation of people with various deviations. The tallest and the lowest man, the thickest and most hairy, bearded woman and Siamese twins – all find shelter under the roof of the “Circus of Barnum” and to Phineas at last comes success. (more…)

The series “Mozart in the Jungle” with a rather specific humor, but there is also something to laugh at and there is much to think about. The show has a lot of beautiful classical music, and it’s just great. It involves not only interpersonal relations, but also professional relations. Hailey is a young talented musician. She has lived in New York for several years playing third-rate shows and giving private lessons. Her big dream is to get to work in the symphony New York orchestra and she even auditioned and she’s noticed by the new conductor Rodrigo, but experience is still scarce. Then Rodrigo asks her to be his personal assistant and Hayley agrees. Now the girl became part of the bohemian life and it would seem, now her life is eternal concerts, parties and beautiful guys from the ballet. However, very few people know how much loneliness, pain, insanity and alcoholism is behind this vivid life.

Officially, the film “Brad’s Status” is claimed as a comedy, although in reality it is a complex movie that provokes strong thoughts. The main character of is Brad Sloan. Going to send his son to one of the most prestigious colleges, Brad is faced with the fact that so long drove from his head. Having met with long-time friends who have achieved real success, ordinary homeland of the suburbs will have to experience a whole range of emotions, including frustration, fatigue, envy and dissatisfaction. Once upon a time, in one fictional world there lived cars. These intelligent and exclusive cars do no differ from ordinary people. Among them there are both adults and children. Adults certainly work, rest and do all things, we are used to. Children go to school where young cars learn the wisdom of life. All of them have families and live isolated in cozy garages. And as people, not all machines understand how important the family is, so when the father of the protagonist – Danny in the movie “CarGo” gets to the dump – he has to reconsider his views and go to save the parent who was in trouble.
